Look for the Fullerton Union
High School's NEW website. All of the information and material
that you are accustomed to finding here on the Academy of the
Arts website are being integrated into the new school website.
Here is the link:
http://www.FullertonHigh.org.
The website you are viewing right
now will slowly disappear as
this consolidation occurs. This URL,
http://www.fullertonarts.com will very soon become merely a
"re-direct" to the new website, and ultimately close down
altogether. For those of you who've noticed that this Academy website
has fallen a bit behind ... you are correct ... but hang in
there and you will be pleased with the new combined web
presence.)
The former FUHS school website:
http://www.fullerton.seniorhigh.net will also give way to
the new website.

Dinner
Theater, 2007
It was the best Dinner Theater ever! Choral, jazz, and theater
students treated sold-out audiences to three evenings of wonderful
music, poetry, and "love letters." If only
these great Don Gach photos could convey the words and music
that accompanied them ... |
The

Vocal Ensemble is back home from their 2007 journey to San

Soon
after the beginning of the new school year, students from Yearbook
and the Photo Program began enjoying the latest in computer
technology courtesy of the Fullerton Academy of the Arts Foundation
(FAAF): a plethora of new HP laptop computers and related equipment
valued at nearly $30,000. A $26,500 grant from the Wilson Phelps
Foundation made this possible.
Besides the new classroom setting
in the Science and Technology Building, the digital arts program
also features the latest Canon EOS 30D cameras.
And earlier ... |

... the FAAF also presented 25 students with a total of $11,000.00 in
individual grants. The grants ranged from $200-$800 and are designed
to help students with advanced training in their particular
discipline. Instrumental and vocal music students will be working
with individual vocal and instrument coaches, and dance students
will be taking additional dance classes off campus. A generous grant
from the Orange County Community Foundation, and from FAAF, made
this unique opportunity available to gifted students.
Recipients (most pictured above, not in
order): James Darrell, Nicole Rojas, Jenell Carranza,
Brittany Rabonza, Amber Reid, Abelardo Vazquez, Edwin Monzon, Kara
Rubio, Ivan Ochoa, Stephanie Burgos, Alisha
King, Fernando Garcia, Willie Holmes, Daniel Garcia, Lily Kehoe,
Elizabeth Duran, Mayra Figueroa, Fernando Capitulo, Chloe Gustafski,
Jeffrey Tutop, Ashleigh Griffith, Benaz Colabewala, Trevor Garcia,
Matthew Spolsky, Osvaldo Ceja. |
